We were delighted to have such a great turnout for the annual Village Summer Fete on 3rd July. Thank you to everyone that attended in making this such a successful day. The sun shone and we had record attendance at our Fun Dog Show – with Best in Show won by Pip and handler Alice Munnane.
There were some wonderful entries in the Craft Show with Thomas Andrew winning the best in SHow with his creative photo of Preston Bissett & all other competition and raffle winners have been given or contacted.
Thank you also to our sponsor Woofs & Washes and for generous donations including rosettes & Raffle Prizes in particular The WHite Hart, The Red Lion Finmere, The Farm Shop, The Nurseries,Smith & Clay, Buckingham Butchers Chafor Wines and many more. Also to Giocoso and Natasha Cuin Wilson for their wonderful musical accompaniment.
We couldn’t have done it without some many willing helpers generously donating their time to set up and run stalls and games at the event, make cakes, enter competitions etc – you are too many to name individually but everyones individual effort is greatly appreciated.
We also raised a whopping total of £3183.63 which is a great result and goes towards the upkeep of our Church.
Many thanks to everyone both from the Village and the wider area for your support.
