“The delays in the community build, Preston Bissett, have unfortunately been in relation to a re-design of the route of the network.
We were experiencing unforeseen circumstances with obtaining necessary permissions to build the route of our network. The re-design then had to follow an internal process of approval, which unfortunately took some time too. I can confirm this was approved.
Due to this the route for the network had to be re-routed in order for us to backhaul the network throughout the community. Backhauling refers to linking all cabinets and main cabinet together in order for our network to go live.
We are hoping to have our network backhauled and live by the end of this month. Also, we are hoping to have all residents connected to our network by the end of Q2 of 2019.
I appreciate this is not the answer you were hoping for and I would like to sincerely apologise for the delay with receiving our network in your community.
