THANK YOU – the Safari Supper was a great success and seemed to be enjoyed by all. Thank you to everyone that catered and made such delicious food and provided great hospitality and convivial company. The event raised £757.50 towards Church funds so that you to everyone that participated and to the White Hart for accommodating us for drinks before and after!
Not long now til Christmas and a few important dates for your diary-
Carols Around the Tree – everyone welcome to come and sign their favourite Carols on 22nd December at 7pm, with musical accompaniment from members of Giocos mulled wine and mince pies provided. Donations on the night to Cancer Research UK.
The ever popular Crib Service on Christmas Eve is back at 4pm. Budding shepherds, Angels, Kings or Mary and Josephs are all invited with their parents to this special childrens service to start Christmas off .
And talking of Mary and Joseph they are travelling around the village in December and need a bed for the night, so if your family want to provide this please let Carole Payne know – carole@payne.uk.net .
