“The celebrations this weekend will mark the Queen’s historic reign in the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth, as she becomes the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service.”
In celebration of this, the parish council has purchased a new bench with a Jubilee plaque which will be placed in the Children’s playground for everyone to use and reflect on Her Majesty’s glorious service.
