Notification of weekend working relating to Topographical Surveys for HS2

Topographical Surveys (Installation of Ground Monitoring Points) – in order to gather more information on the existing railway corridors along the MCJ line and OXD line we will be conducting drone surveys (see map below). These will fly at a minimum of 80 metres and will be largely indistinguishable other than to the pilots and support. Ahead of these surveys we need to install ground monitoring points. In order to do this safely whilst no trains are running we have requested railway possessions for the dates below. Not all of these dates will be used. The works will involve two gangs of 4-5 people and will only use hand tools and a rail trolley to move equipment up and down the rail.
