| AVDC’s garden waste collection service is now operating a subscription sticker system which will enable our crews to easily identify which garden waste bins are eligible for collection. Whether you’re an existing customer wondering how to get hold of your sticker, or a new customer looking to sign up today and take advantage of the final month of pro-rata payment, here’s what you need to know about the new garden waste collection service… Between Monday 12 August and Friday 23 August, existing garden waste customers will receive a subscription sticker along with a letter further detailing the improvements to the current service in the post. We ask that you please follow the instructions on the reverse of the sticker carefully to affix it to your brown garden waste bin. From Monday 9 September, any brown garden waste bins not clearly displaying a valid subscription sticker will not be emptied. For existing customers, please look out for your letter in the post and affix your sticker to your bin as soon as it arrives, so your brown garden waste bin is ready for collections come Monday 9 September. If you haven’t received your sticker by Monday 2 September, please visit aylesburyvaledc.gov.uk/garden and use the ‘contact us’ form provided or call 01296 585510. For new customers subscribing to the garden waste collection service, a brown garden waste bin will be delivered to your property with the current calendar year’s subscription sticker already affixed.
