We have received the following message from Lucy Colls, the Engagement Manager at the contractor, EKFB:
“I just wanted to drop you an email to keep you updated on our ground investigation (GI) works.
We are due to mobilise at Moat Farm near Godington in the next few weeks, subject to the final paperwork being signed off. This work will involve a combination of trial pits and boreholes to assess the ground conditions.
I wanted to let you know that you that the access to the farm for these works will be from the Preston Bissett road.
To carry out the works we will be laying track matting to protect the ground and delivering drilling rigs to the site, so there will be a few tractor/4×4 with low loader trailer deliveries.
After the deliveries have been completed, there will then just be worker traffic to the site, so normal cars/4x4s.
I just wanted to make you aware, as dependent on where workers live, they may travel through Preston Bissett to access the site, but these will be low numbers of vehicles to carry out this specific work.
