Gigaclear Update from the Parish Clerk

I have just spoken to Gigaclear who have explained the process for connection to Fibre broadband in the village.  As you know they have installed connections points at each house in the village, these units then need to be connected to cabinet lines, of which there will be several in the village.  Once connected the service team will visit and individually test the lines and then notify the Gigaclear Sales team that the line and connection is ready.

If you want to know when your connection goes live you will need to register your interest on the Gigaclear website, this will then alert the Sales team to call you as soon as the line and connection have been tested. See link below.

I can confirm that several residents have live connection, although I can’t say which ones, and that Gigaclear expect all lines to be fully operational by the end of the year.
