Dear Residents
I have spoken with the Liaison Managers from HS2 and they have assured me that HS2 vehicles would NOT drive through the village as part of their works. They have made me aware however that the company carrying out the preparatory works may on occasion have permission to use the roads however this would be kept to a minimum. Please could I ask you to report any sightings of HS2 vehicles to both the parish council and HS2 remembering to include the date, time and location. If you could take note of the number plate or take a photograph on a mobile phone this is also very helpful as all vehicles entering HS2 sites are recorded and can be tracked to ensure that they have the correct permissions.
