Dear Resident,
The Parish Council is very aware of the increasing number of cars parked on the roads in the village. Whilst it is understandable that residents wish to park their cars directly outside or close by their house, this needs to be done SAFELY at all times.
In recent times parking in and around the square has been problematic with residents and visitors to the village parking their cars too close to the junction, up on pavements and in some cases on the road rather than using parking spaces available within their property.
We are reluctant to put double yellow lines and ‘no parking’ restrictions within this village and so it is the responsibility of all of us to be considerate and lawful when parking cars; remembering always to be SAFE for you, your family and other road users.
